Being a personal trainer, I have shared many conversations with amazing women. When discussing the areas of their body they desire to work on the most, it's a unanimous decision. Here are the top three focus areas for women; and here are the some strategies to transforming those areas.
Trouble Spots: 1. Arms 2. Legs 3. Stomach
Troubleshooting: 1. Focus on your diet Eat breakfast. Prepare meals ahead of time so that you do not skip meals. Skipping meals will cause you to overeat and eat recklessly. Do not starve yourself; it does more harm than good. In fact, there are no benefits to not eating. Eat balanced meals; 3-4 properly portioned meals per day. Focus on lean protein and a plethora of veggies.
2. Strength Train Perform full body routines and compound exercises (ex. Squats, pushups, planks, etc.); you burn the most calories. Tone your body; adding muscle gives a slender and lean look. It also increases metabolism. Perform training with low weight and high repetitions.
3. Do cardio 30-40 minutes of various cardio 3 or more times per week can trim the excess fat (ex. Walking, running, jogging, sprints, biking, hiking, etc.)
I would love to hear your comments ladies!

I know some women may be scared to get toned because they think they will look less feminine. But I think being toned makes you look like a confident beautiful woman! So ladies don't be afraid to get those muscles in shape, be proud of your accomplishments and show off that new body! Go sleeveless and shake you arms without shame! We can be toned and still have our feminine curves too. Just don't go over board with the weights and end up looking like the female version of The Rock-LOL!

I couldn't agree with you more workoutwarrior83! Toned arms exude confidence and femininity. Focusing on lighter weights, higher repetitions, and controlled tempo and form will do the job.
