With all of the hustle and bustle of today, self-care must be an active part of your life. Think about it...if you don't take of yourself, who will? Many of us work long hours; have long commutes to work, and demanding responsibilities; and it gets difficult to minimize the stress sometimes. But I encourage you to practice self care. Plan out a day or maybe a portion of your day daily in which you do something you like. Find an activity that allows you to relax, release, and revive yourself. Take this time to participate in activities that result in your sincere enjoyment.
If you are currently practicing self-care, I would love to hear what you do to limit the stress in your life. If you are not currently practicing self-care, what would be something you could incorporate in your life to minimize stress?

At the end of a long day I like to get all snuggly in my bed and watch The Golden Girls or The Nanny. There's nothing better than just relaxing with my hubby and watching a little tv. Then, I like to end the night reading some scriptures from my Bible app on my phone-which by the way is great and totally free!!!!!!

Working out is also a great way to relieve stress! If I'm having a bad day or just not feeling the best about myself, I find that I always feel better after a good workout. Working out helps me to get my mind off of feeling lousy and gets me active. I feel great after working out because I know that I've accomplished something worth while!
