Recently, I have been monitoring and observing my moods and energy relative to the foods I consume. Many of us struggle with low energy, bloating, grogginess, fatigue, unclear thinking, irritability, and other unfavorable manners. Well, the reason you feel the way you do may be due to what you are eating. Did you ever eat something and afterward you felt great, energetic, and mentally focused and sharp? It was probably because you found a food that makes your body feel great. Listen, everybody is different. That means different people can eat different foods. After taking many notes and trying many different foods, I have discovered a few foods that make me feel great. Foods that make me feel great: • Pineapple • Oranges • Tomatoes • Sweet Potatoes/Yams • Fish • Green Beans • Kale Chips • Beets • Asparagus • Watermelon • Onions
Some of you may already know a few foods that make you feel great. That’s great! If you don’t, I encourage you to take a week, keep a food journal capturing what foods you eat and how you feel when you eat them.
I would love to hear from you!! What are foods that make you feel great?

Cakes and chocolate make me feel great! But only for like 5 minutes, then I feel HORRIBLE! Junk food gives me a brief feeling of pleasure and then it's down hill from there. I get bloated and backed up (if you know what I mean). Foods that really make me feel great are fruits like pineapple, apples, watermelon, tomatoes, and roasted veggies like sweet potatoes, kale chips, zucchini, carrots, onions, mushrooms, and butternut squash.
